Sports

Sports teams "play" an important role in many, if not all, colleges across the United States. St. Norbert had an active boxing, baseball, basketball, and track team, as well as other sports. Sporting teams were coached by the Norbertine Priests that taught on campus. Sports teams  instilled and strengthed the ideas of teamwork, community presence, and peaceful living that was a part of the Norbertine Order. Until 1952, the College was an all-male school. The first female sports team was a created in 1954.
